Hi, my name is Austin Nordhaus! I was born in Ohio, USA. I am currently studying Percussion Performance (BM) at the University of Michigan. Ever since I was a kid, I have had a passion for learning all about the beautiful sights and sounds that the world has to offer. Due to this love of exploring, I have spent lots of time studying music and art in Japan, so you may find bits and pieces of Japanese inspiration in my music.I love listening to any genre of music, but I have always been specifically drawn to narratively driven melodies, as well as music influenced and inspired by the natural sounds of the Earth.
